Relax under our Beach Palapas – on either end of the building. Also most days, you can get a relaxing massage from one of the masseuses that set up in front of our resort.
Banana Boats can handle around 6 to 8 people at a time. Banana Boat rides depart from the beach and take you out into the ocean but not too far from shore. Beach vendors usually charge between 10.00 to 20.00 per person depending on the amount of time you ride.
Jet skis are a very popular activity in Rocky Point. Sandy Beach’s calm waters and warm temperature make it the perfect place for jet skiing. You can rent jet skis from a beach vendor for one or two people. Rentals are priced by time starting with a minimum of half an hour. Prices vary from vendor to vendor but the average is 60.00 to 80.00 per hour.
Available at the Concierge desk in the lobby, stand up paddle boards (SUP) offer a relaxing and fun way to play on the water. With very little gear, you can paddle in the calm and warm ocean waters off of Sandy Beach. People of all ages and fitness levels can try the sport. Unlike surfing, you don’t need waves to paddle board, and the very calm, flat waters of Puerto Penasco are best for beginners.
Available at the Concierge Desk in the lobby, kayaking is lots of fun any time of day and all year round, but one of the best times to enjoy kayaking is at sunset time. Turn it into a romantic evening with a breath taking sunset where you will enjoy the striking colors of a Puerto Penasco sunset while gliding along the oceans surface. Nothing is better than being on the water at this gorgeous time of day.
