Sonoran Sea Resort Rules and Regulations

  • For Sonoran Sea the reservation holder must be at least 25 years old and present state issued ID upon check in.
  • The HOA maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy on threatening or abusive behavior. Harassment or physical abuse of any person by another is prohibited. Violators of this and or the rules below are subject to immediate removal from the property.
  • NO offensive, intimidating, threatening behavior will be tolerated. Violators are subject to immediate removal from the Resort.
  • Casago Renters: If there is anything wrong in your unit at check in time, please notify the front desk within the first 20 minutes (this includes cleaning issues).
  • Direct from Owner Renters: Please contact the unit owner with any issues with your unit.
  • Please do not move or rearrange the furniture and avoid taking any items our of the condominium. Everything is inventoried and anything damaged, broken, missing or lost will be charged to you. Please report any noticeable damages immediately upon check-in.
  • Please do not move pool furniture from pool areas. For your own safety glass containers are not allowed in pool areas.
  • Fireworks, fire arms and drugs are prohibited by Mexican Law. Fireworks are prohibited within 1 mile from the properties.
  • No music or loud noise that might disturb owners and renters after 9:45 pm is allowed in order to preserve tranquility.
  • Camping on the grounds of the condos or congregating in the parking lot is not allowed.
  • It is prohibited to have tents, chairs, towels or to organize games in the green areas (grass).
  • Room capacity, 3 bedrooms (6 persons), 2 bedrooms (4 persons), 1 bedrooms (2 persons). Only 2 extra people are allowed per unit if the unit is supplied with sofa sleeper.
  • There is a charge for extra people that are 13 years of age and older (12 & under also count as an extra person but there is no charge for them).
  • No additional persons are allowed to stay in the rental than the ones allowed per unit type.
  • Sleeping inside the vehicles is not allowed.
  • BBQ grills are not allowed inside the condos or on the patios. BBQ’s have been installed on the premises for your convenience.
  • When leaving lower floor condos, please be sure to put the safety bar on the glass door and windows.
  • The cleaning service will be provided after you check out of your unit.
  • Please do not leave trash in hallways, place all trash in the designated trash areas, next to the elevators.
  • Please return all room keys upon checkout, to avoid a replacement key charge.
  • ATV’s, RV’s, Trailers, Jet Ski, Motorcycle, bikes and sand rails must be parked along the designated area.
  • Only registered persons staying at the Resorts are allowed to use common areas such as swimming pool, fitness center BBQ grills, etc these areas cannot be used after 9:45 pm. The guest’s visitors are not allowed to use the common areas.
  • Casago and Administration are not responsible for vehicles or items left in them.
  • Only condominium renters and owners will be allowed to use the amenities such as the pool and grills. Be sure to wear your ID bracelet provided at check-in at all times while in the common areas. This allows security personnel to easily identify you and keep unauthorized persons out. If you do not wear the ID Bracelet you will be addressed by security and you will be escorted off the property.
  • No pets are allowed.
  • Registered Service Animals are allowed per Mexican Law – Renter must provide paperwork showing Animal Certification / Training. Emotional Support Animals (ESA’s) are not recognized as Service Animals per Mexican Law, and are not allowed.
  • Casago Rocky Point and administration are not responsible for items left in the condominium please be sure to lock the units.
  • The beach area is not our direct responsibility. We are not responsible for articles forgotten or left in the beach area.
  • In case of an emergency after HOA office hours please refer to guard gate for assistance.
  • People under the age of 16 cannot use the gym facilities.
  • West Building Hot Tub – Open to all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • East Building Hot Tub – Adults Only – Children under 16 are not allowed.
  • Children must be under adult supervision around pool and Jacuzzi areas at all times. There are no life guards.
  • Hanging any sort of clothes or towels on terrace rails is prohibited.
  • Swimming suits only are allowed in pools. Street clothes are prohibited in the pools and Jacuzzi.
  • Lost and Damaged Wristbands will have a $ 20.00 USD charge.
  • This is a NON-SMOKING Facility. Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in the common areas or inside the condos or balconies. Per Mexican law, smoking is NOT allowed on the beach.
  • We ask you to respect our security staff. They are here to keep you safe, remind you of the rules, and to help you have a good time.
  • Pool rules are posted around the pool area. Please limit the use of the Jacuzzi to no more than 20 minutes so that others can enjoy. Pools close at 9:45 PM. The pool area should be quiet after that.
  • The use of the facilities is not allowed once check out is completed.
  • Renters and Owners must wear wrist bands in the common areas.
  • The property enforces a 10:00 PM Quiet Policy. After 10:00 PM loud music or loud noise must cease.
  • Bathrooms are located under the elevator and in the lobby. We prefer that you use the ones outside if you are wet coming from the pool.
  • We ask that you do not leave garbage in the hallways. Please put garbage in the containers near the elevators.
  • It is not allowed to hang clothes, towels, or any other object on patio railings.
  • We ask you to respect our security staff. They are here to keep you safe, remind you of the rules, and to help you have a good time.
  • No pets allowed for renters (owners may have pets).
  • Owners must keep their pets on a leash and pick up after them.
  • Drones are not allowed on the resort property at any time.
  • Drones on the beach: Mexico law states that only Mexican nationals are allowed to have drones, and the drone must be properly licensed with the Mexican authority.
  • Mexican law prohibits firearms and fireworks.
  • Mexican law prohibits smoking in restaurants, common areas and on the beach.  Only owners are allowed to smoke in their private units and balconies.
  • Pool Hours are from 7:00 AM – 9:45 PM.
  • There is no lifeguard on duty.
  • Proper swim suit wear is required when using the pool or the hot tub. Jeans, shirts and cover ups are not allowed in the water.
  • Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • Infants are required to wear “swim diapers”. Swim diapers are available at the resort convenience store.
  • Headset required when using electronic equipment.
  • No glass containers or bottles around pool area.
  • No food inside or around pool area.
  • Please do not leave personal belongings on the lounges or tables in the pool area overnight or go to the beach all day, others may want to use them.
  • Children over 12 are NOT allowed on the slide.
  • No diving or climbing on the rocks or waterfall in the pool area.
  • Pool Bar – 18 years and older.
  • West Building Hot Tub – Open to all ages. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • East Building Hot Tub – Adults only – Children under 16 are not allowed.
  • Upper pool – Adults only – Children under 16 are not allowed.
  • Mexico law (as of Jan 2023) has banned smoking in any public areas, including the beach.  Smoking is ONLY allowed by owners in their private units.
  • Fireworks are not allowed on the property or beach area in front of the property.
  • A cleaning truck cleans the beach area early in the morning. Please do not leave tents, umbrellas, towels, etc., overnight on the beach or in any common area. We are not responsible for any loss or damage of any items left in these areas or the parking lot.
  • Pets are not allowed in common areas.
  • Drones are not allowed on the resort property at any time.
  • Only owners may have pets in their exclusive properties.
  • Guests of Owners may only have pets when staying with owner in the owners property.
  • Renters are not allowed to have pets.
  • Pets are not allowed in common areas.
  • Owners and immediate family pets must have a registration form signed and on file with the HOA office before the pet is allowed on premises.
  • Pets must be under control and on leash while on the property. Pets are not allowed in pool area, lobby, or workout center.
  • Pet feces must be collected and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
  • Pets must not be a noise nuisance.
  • Pets must be dry to use elevator. Wet and dirty pets must use stairs.
  • Pets must be current on vaccinations. Puppies and kittens under 6 months of age are exempt.
  • Administrator shall notify owner of all pet violations. After two written notices of the same violation within a six month period, the pet will be evicted from the complex.
  • Registered Service Animals are allowed in common areas per Mexican Law – Owner must provide paperwork showing Animal Certification / Training. Emotional Support Animals (ESA’s) are not recognized as Service Animals per Mexican Law, and are not allowed.
  • Hours are from 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Children under 16 are not allowed.
  • Please do not drop the weights.
  • For your safety, flip flops are not allowed when using the equipment.
